Dide Cáto Schuit













 







Dide Schuit (2000) traces the fragile space between thoughts, where meaning and connection take shape. Pointing her camera to herself and her surroundings, she reflects on her shifting roles in life and questions what we are truly doing here. By collecting, reworking, and recontextualizing diapositives, postcards, small films, passages, gatherings and conversations, she creates new narratives through installations, films, and publications. Acting as a translator of her own world, she strives to step out of her cocoon and bridge the space between herself and others.  

Schuit obtained her BA in Graphic design at ArtEZ (2025) after an exchange at BA Film at LUCA, Brussels (2024) and finishing her propaedeutic phase in Fashion Design at ArtEZ (2020-2021). Schuit was nominated for the Heij Konijn Award (2025) and also works as a videographer and photographer.
